Sports Central Caboolture has today announced that its official club opening will go ahead on Monday 28th September after receiving confirmation of licensing approvals from the department of
Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
As part of the CSC Group, Sports Central Caboolture will feature a bistro, café, gaming lounge, sports lounge, bar facilities, and three function spaces.
Before opening its doors on Monday 28th September at 10am, the venue received a modest facelift including new carpets throughout the gaming and foyer areas, internal paint throughout, glass door frosting, front door decals, building signs, directional signage, vinyl wraps and the addition of new furniture.
Majority of the Caboolture RSL staff have been reemployed by the CSC Group including long-time staff member Deborah Hayward who worked for Caboolture RSL for 20 years as of March 2020.
“I absolutely love my job, loved the RSL, love the community, patrons, my work family; all of this is very dear to me,” commented Deborah, Central’s Foyer Supervisor.
“Now coming across to Sports Central I am just overwhelmed that I’ve been taken on board as well and it’s very exciting, and I can’t wait to start this new era of this beautiful club (Central).”
Central also recently announced the naming of Central Bistro which will be open four nights a week for dinner and two days for lunch. Central Bistro will feature classic pub favourites such as chicken schnitzels, fettuccini carbonara, steaks and more.
Also recently named, is the Grounds Café. Located on the ground level, the café will open 7 days a week from 10am. Grounds Café will feature a tasty range of grab & go selections, toasted sandwiches, pastries, melts, wraps & more. The café will also feature the independent coffee brand Sunday Collab, known for its eco-friendly, rich, lively structure and mellow body.
The Club will play host to popular sporting codes broadcast in a dedicated Sporting Lounge including the upcoming AFL & NRL grand finals and more!
Members will enjoy a range of weekly promotions, trivia hosted by comedian Mike Van Acker, three bingo sessions per week, over $2,000 worth of raffle prizes, and more.
